NISSAN CEDRIC 130 SERIES (Mark 3)
(1968-1969 Model)

http://www.earlydatsun.com/2300supersix.jpg" style="border:0;"/>

The Mark 3 has a new front end treatment and long rectangular tail light clusters. It also has a new side indicator with a small metal grille behind it. It has new bumbers that sit higher than the previous model and are also about double the height. It also has the new 'safety' dash board, a black plastic dash with rectangular dials. Engines now included the 2263cc 123hp OHC 6cyl L23 engine, as well as the 1983cc 99hp OHV 4cyl H20 engine and the 1992cc 109hp OHV 6cyl J20 engine. It was available in 4 door sedan or 5 door wagon. To confuse matters, each different model had a different grille design, there are at least 3 different grilles for the Mark 3 cars.

The different models available in 1968 are -
130S - Standard - 1982cc 4 cyl engine. Has painted door window frames, smaller hubcaps that only partially cover the whole wheel, only one sunvisor and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Cedric'.
P130 - Deluxe Six - 1973cc 6 cyl engine. Has stainless steel door window frames, hubcaps that cover the whole wheel, stainless steel roof drip channel mouldings and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Cedric Deluxe Six'.
G130S - Personal Six - 2263cc 6 cyl engine. Has painted door window frames, smaller hubcaps that only partially cover the whole wheel and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Datsun 2300 Personal Six' or 'Cedric Personal Six'.
P130S - Personal Six - 1973cc 6 cyl engine. Has painted door window frames, smaller hubcaps that only partially cover the whole wheel and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Cedric Personal Six'.
WP130 - Wagon Six - 1973cc 6 cyl engine. Has stainless steel door window frames, hubcaps that cover the whole wheel, stainless steel roof drip channel mouldings and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Cedric Wagon Six'.
VP130 - Van Six - 1973cc 6 cyl engine. Has painted door window frames, smaller hubcaps that only partially cover the whole wheel, only one sunvisor and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Cedric Six'.
Q130 - Cedric Diesel - Is the same as the Standard but has the SD22 4cyl. 2164cc 70hp Diesel engine with a 3 speed gearbox.
G130V - Special Six - 2263cc 144hp OHC 6cyl twin carb engine. Has stainless steel door window frames, hubcaps that cover the whole wheel, stainless steel roof drip channel mouldings, bucket seats and vinyl upholstery. Side emblems say 'Datsun 2300 Special Six' or 'Cedric Special Six'. Has 'Special Six' emblem in the grille.
G130V -  Super Six - The Super Six appears to be identical to the Special Six in every way, I can't see any difference between them. It is possible that the Special Six was sold as the Super Six in some countries. Side emblems say 'Datsun 2300 Super Six' or 'Cedric Super Six'. Has 'Super Six' emblem in the grille.
