That is true. The B engine was assembled by Hino and Daihatsu.

Some leaf springs used in the Toyota Dyna and Toyota Landcruiser were made by Mitsubishi.

Here is a 1970 Daihatsu Hijet S37 in New Zealand for sale.

The owner began to restore it but does not have the time to finish it.

Engine: 2 cyl 347cc zm engine (same as in the Daihatsu  Max/cuore)
