Pela pesquisa que fiz os 100 anos foram em 2004.

The first Japanese car, the Yamaba was a ten seater powered by a 25hp 2 cylinder steam engine. Built in 1904, only four were made. This 10-passenger steam car was the first automobile to be domestically produced. At the Fifth Domestic Industrial Exposition, held in Osaka in 1903, a man of wealth from Okayama was inspired by the display of American automobiles. He then had Torao Yamaba build this car.

Mas para 2007 faz 100 anos este modelo

The Takuri was the first petrol powered Japanese production car. Powered by a two cylinder 1875cc boxer engine,8/12HP, 800kg, only 12 were built between 1907 and 1909.

Investigando mais temos mais especificamente Takuri  Type 3 (1907)

This automobile was commissioned by Imperial Prince Takehito Arisugawa, the
"Imperial Prince of Automobiles," who ordered Shinataro Yoshida and Komanosuke Uchiyama to build it. It was the first domestic, gasoline-powered automobile built in Japan. About ten were constructed, and because people at the time thought it made a rattling noise when it ran, they nicknamed it the "Takuri," which is a shortened form of the Japanese onomatopoeia for "rattle.

A Daiahatsu também foi fundada em 1907, produzindo inicialmente apenas motores de combustão interna.

Pois, eu referia-me ao Takuri. Bela investigação, é assim mesmo. Se conseguirem reunir mais dados era óptimo para se criar um tópico na Galeria de modelos.

E a quem pertence actualmente o nome Takuri? ou será que pura e simplesmente morreu?
